How To Turn A Bath Into A Sofa

In this upcycling project, Custom Tub and Tile Restoration demonstrate how to turn a bath into a sofa. The end result looks great!

This gives a good overview of the process but they don’t show how they marked out the cutting line or the making of the foam pad inset.

I’ve got no idea what they used to clean the bath.  If you do need more guidance on this, there’s an interesting article here that explains the methods for cleaning different types of bathtub surfaces.

  • Foam padding
Equipment

Did You Know?

75 percent of all water used in the household is used in the bathroom. A full bath tub uses 70 gallons of water. A 5 minute shower only uses 10-25 gallons.
