How To Upcycle A Jumper Into A Bag


Jennifer from Jenash Designs demonstrates how to upcycle a jumper into a bag in this video tutorial.  This is a great way to reuse a jumper that you no longer wear.

The materials and equipment that you will need to upcycle your jumper / sweater are shown below.

Materials
  • Old jumper / sweater
  • 2 handles
  • Lining material (Jennifer used an old sheet)
  • Thread
Equipment
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Needle
  • Sewing Machine
  • Over-locker (optional)
  • Pinking shears (optional)
