Savannah Starr from Cool2Craft demonstrates how to upcycle your old shoes with blackboard paint. I’m really surprised at how well the paint went on, it has a very smooth finish.
I’d love to see them with the writing and drawings done with the coloured chalk pens, I bet you could end up with some great designs. This is also a good way to change the colour of your shoes even if you don’t want to add any chalk decoration!
The materials and equipment that you’ll need to upcycle your old shoes with blackboard paint are shown below.
- Old shoes
- Blackboard paint
- Chalk or chalk pens
- Paint brush
- Masking tape or blue decorators tape (optional)
