Caroline Malcolm (aka me!) demonstrates how to make upcycled bottle top stands. In this video I show you 3 different styles of bottle top stands; jewellery display, a table place setting and a photo holder.
These are quite quick and fairly simple to make and also saves a few bottle tops from being placed into the bin!
I’ve added a photo gallery below, of the different stands and their uses so that you can get a good look at them. The close up view on the camera isn’t the greatest in this video. I promise, I will work on improving that in future videos!

The materials and equipment that you’ll need to make your upcycled bottle top stands are shown below.
- Bottle tops
- PVA / white craft glue
- Spray paint (optional)
- Hot glue gun
- Cocktail stick or something similar to mix the sand (should any air bubbles appear)
- Paint brush
- Paper or small dish to collect the excess glitter
- Round nose pliers (not needle nose!)
- Flat nose pliers
- Spray painting mask and gloves (if spray painting)
