Simple Kids Crafts shows us how to make a minion in this this video. They’ve upcycled a yellow plastic egg that came from a chocolate egg, I’m sure it’s from a Kinder Egg / Surprise but please let me know in the comments if you know of any others.
These are super cute and would be great fun to make with the kids. I’m sure they’d love to find out how to make a minion and start building their minion army!
If you don’t have any blue nail varnish you could paint it with blue acrylic paint and then give it a coat of clear nail varnish to protect it.
The materials and equipment that you’ll need to make your minion are shown below.
- Yellow plastic egg
- Blue nail polish
- Black felt or fabric
- Googly eyes
- Aluminium foil or silver coloured duct tape
- Jewellery findings (optional)
- Wire or elastic cord (optional)
- Sticky tape
- Strong glue (they used UHU glue)
- Black marker pen
- Pin or something sharp to make a hole (optional)
- Pliers (optional)
