Theresa from ChaChaCakes demonstrates how to upcycle record sleeves into boxes. The boxes are quick and simple to make.
I’ve seen a lot of upcycling ideas for records but this is the first one that I have seen for the sleeves. It’s a great reuse for something that would have other wise been recycled or discarded.
They would make great gift or storage boxes, especially if you find a nice album design. If you have an album design that isn’t that very inspiring, you could always cover it with a nice piece of (used) patterned paper, fabric or paint and embellish them.
The materials and equipment that you will need to make your upcycled record sleeve boxes are listed below.
- Old record sleeves
- Hot glue sticks
