Kim Munroe from Something Crafty This Way Comes, demonstrates how to upcycle toilet paper rolls into wall art in this upcycling video project.
You will see that Kim had a bit of trouble with painting of the toilet paper rolls once they had been assembled. She recommends that you spray paint them once it’s been fully assembled OR paint the paper rolls before you cut them up, then glue them together and touch them up with the paint to cover any glue spots.
You can use any colour you want on your wall art and you can add other items to embellish it even more e.g. wrap strips of ribbon or fabric around the toilet paper rolls, paint the inside and outside of the rolls different colours or add some glitter to make them sparkle!

- Wooden frame
- Toilet paper rolls
- Hot glue sticks
- Spray paint / acrylic paint
- Buttons / embellishments (optional)
- Hot glue gun
- Sharp scissors
- Paint brush (only needed if using acrylic paint)
- Measuring tape / ruler
- Pencil to mark out your lengths
