Caroline shows us how to upcycle trousers into a yoga bag mat in this upcycling project. This is a great reuse for a pair of unwanted trousers and an inexpensive way to provide yourself with a custom made yoga bag mat!
Billions of pounds worth of wearable clothes and other textiles could be saved from landfill each year if we all reused more and wasted less. If you need (or know someone that needs) a yoga bag mat then why not make one and reuse something destined for landfill?
The materials and equipment that you will need to make your upcycled yoga bag mat are shown below, along with the fabric measurements and Caroline’s downloadable pdf.
The pdf includes an actual size circular template for the bottom panel and written instructions on how to make the bag, please remember to print this as actual size!
