The Teacher Training shows us how to upcycle a plastic bottle and turn it into a garbage gobbler! This is a great upcycling idea for the kids. It’s cheap and easy to make and it’s sure to keep them entertained for a few hours 🙂
The materials and equipment that you’ll need to make your upcycled garbage gobbler are shown below.
- Large plastic bottle
- 2 bottle tops
- Masking tape
- Double sided foam tape
- Scrap tissue paper
- White craft glue
- Paint (and anything else that you want to use to decorate your garbage gobbler!)
- Paint brushes
Did you know?
Bottles used to package water take over 1,000 years to bio-degrade and if incinerated, they produce toxic fumes. It is estimated that over 80% of all single-use water bottles used in the U.S. simply become “litter.”
