Upcycled CD Decorations – Kids Crafts

ArtDaniela demonstrates how to make upcycled CD decorations, a fun kids crafting project.  This is a great idea for keeping the kids entertained and reusing old discs.

Daniela managed to find some pretty pink CDs for her project.  If you’re not so lucky, you could always paint the CDs or wrap them in paper or fabric.

The materials and equipment that you’ll need to make your upcycled CD decorations are shown below.

  • 2 old CDs
  • Tacky glue
  • Wool, yarn or thread
  • Embellishments e.g. foam shapes gems, sequins, studs, buttons
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors

Shoppers worldwide are using approximately 500 billion single-use plastic bags per year.  This translates to about a million bags every minute across the globe, or 150 bags a year for every person on earth.  And the number is rising.
